Level Infinite has released information about the MOBA game "Honor of Kings."

Publishing Level Infinite with TiMi Studio Group, the developer of Honor of Kings, today we would like to express our deepest gratitude to Honor of Kings' global community for their contributions to Green Game Jam 2025. This initiative was carried out as part of the UN Environment Programme (UNEP)-sponsored international environmental initiative, Green Game Jam 2025, led by the Playing for the Planet.
Players' participation not only increased awareness of environmental issues, but also supported four projects to protect and regenerate biodiversity-rich forest ecosystems in Indonesia, Malaysia and Brazil.
Spreading begins in the game: Viral spread and spontaneous learning
Players participated in two in-game events, "Let's all protect nature and ecosystems" and "For the Blue Forest," which provide interactive and shareable educational content.
"Let's all protect nature and ecosystems together," focuses on 18 species of animals and plants, including rare species, as well as the forest ecosystem, with over 90% of players taking part in the event. We recorded high engagement comparable to traditional gaming experiences.
In a subsequent survey, 87.97% of players said they would like to work on environmental protection in their daily lives, and an additional 11.56% said they could "treat."
In addition, "For the Aokimori" takes advantage of the social dynamics unique to MOBA games, and allows for naturally occurring spread through invitations between players. Within the first week, the community showed a viral spread, with one invitation leading to an average of two new participants. Despite the difficult challenge, many players continue to take on the challenge in order to become the title of "guardian of nature," and have proven that measures that link "honor" and "real significance" have led to overwhelming motivation.
These in-game events are open until Sunday, May 4th.

Support worldwide: invalidate 28,000 tons of carbon credit
Through this initiative, the global community of Honor of Kings has purchased and retired (nullified) a total of 28,000 tons of carbon credits, providing funding for real-world environmental conservation activities. This corresponds to approximately 578,551 square meters of forest protection.

● Kuamut Rainforest Conservation Project (Malaysia): Ecosystem protection in tropical rainforests and support for local communities
● Rimba Raya Biodiversity Reserve Project (Indonesia): Ecosystem protection in tropical forests
● Brazilian Amazon APD Grouped Project (Brazil): Controlling deforestation through economic incentives

Eco-active activities that spread outside the game: examples from Southeast Asia
Inspired by Green Game Jam's efforts, the Honor of Kings player community has also launched its own environmental efforts outside of the game.
Indonesia
● Mangrove planting will be carried out at Taman Wisata Alam Mangrove Angke Kapuk in Jakarta through a streaming charity event by Dellete, Tara Arts, Gerry Eka and the Bumantara Team.
Philippines
● In collaboration with the Million Trees Foundation, five content creators, Ann Mateo, Shehyee, Leomiho, Kcbae, and Choox TV, will be holding a challenge. Every time an enemy was defeated in a battle, a single seedling was enveloped in protective materials.
